Recently, Restoration Healthcare in Irvine closed, and Dr. Shikhman’s office is closed due to his passing (they may open up again, as no further statements have been made at this time). Many of you may feel sadness, disruption, or concern about continuing your care. These transitions can be challenging, and it is natural to experience a mix of emotions.On a personal note, Dr. Shikhman literally saved my life. He was the first person to formally diagnose me with Lyme disease, marking the true beginning of my health journey. His insight, dedication, and compassionate care impacted so many patients’ lives, and his absence is deeply felt. May he rest in power.
